Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang is one of the pioneering officers of the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC). He plays an important role in building, developing the entire technical system of Viet Nam National NIC, including important national Internet infrastructure systems (national DNS domain name server system “.vn” and Viet Nam National Internet Exchange - VNIX). He has implemented many projects to ensure safety, reliability, and sustainability for Vietnam's Internet activities, such as: Deploying DNSSEC standards for the DNS system “.vn”; promoting IPv6 transition in Vietnam's Internet; deploying RPKI to ensure Vietnam's Internet routing security.
In 2018, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang was awarded the title "IPv6 Hall of Fame" for his contributions to promoting the development and application of IPv6 globally.

Professor Jun Murai is known as the ‘father of the Internet’ in Japan. In 1984, he developed the Japan University UNIX Network (JUNET), the first-ever inter-university network in that nation.
In 1988, he founded the Widely Integrated Distributed Environment (WIDE) Project, a Japanese Internet research consortium, for which he continues to serve as a board member.
He is dean of the Graduate School of Media and Governance and a professor at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, where he earned his PhD in computer science in 1987.
He has served as President of the Japan Network Information Center (JPNIC) and as Vice President of the Japanese Internet Association. He served on the Internet Society’s Board of Trustees from 1997 to 2000. In 1998, he was appointed as one of nine initial directors of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and served until June 2003.
In 2005, he was awarded the Internet Society’s Jonathan B. Postel Service Award in recognition of his vision and pioneering work that helped spread the Internet across the Asia Pacific region. He was honoured with the 2011 IEEE Internet Award, was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2013, and was awarded the Legion of Honour by the Government of France in 2019.

Bill Woodcock is the executive director of Packet Clearing House, the international organization responsible for providing operational support and security to critical Internet infrastructure, including Internet exchange points and the core of the domain name system; assisting governments with Internet regulation and policy making; and ensuring cyber security coordination with CERTs and network operators.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang has years of experience in researching, designing, building, managing, and developing Internet services, networks and security systems. He also contributes to the development of technology communities.
In 2022, he was appointed Deputy Director of Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), in charge of public engineering. technology, management, operation, and development of important national Internet systems (VNIX national Internet exchange station, national DNS system), VNNIC's service and security systems.

Prof. Masaki Umejima is currently a Senior Researcher at the Keio University Global Research Institute. He is also the Convener of Development Plan in System Committee.
His expertise is Information Management System Design, Infrastructure Desigin, Policy Management Study.


Srinivas Chendi (Sunny) serves as APNIC's Senior Advisor for Strategic Relations, bringing a deep passion for collaboration with communities throughout the Asia Pacific region. Over his 23-year tenure at APNIC, Srinivas has worked across diverse roles and responsibilities, building extensive experience in regional Internet governance and community engagement.
In his current role, Srinivas is responsible for developing and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders including governments, intergovernmental organizations, APNIC Members, National Internet Registries (NIRs), and the broader Asia Pacific Internet community. He plays a vital role in supporting the APNIC community through the development of Internet number resource policies, capacity building initiatives, and programs focused on youth and next-generation leaders.
Srinivas is dedicated to increasing engagement and participation across the multistakeholder Asia Pacific community, ensuring these efforts align with APNIC's long-term vision of maintaining an interoperable, open, secure, and stable Internet. He actively supports and contributes to key APNIC initiatives that advance the organization's mission while expanding its regional impact, constantly seeking new opportunities to strengthen collaboration throughout the Asia Pacific community.

Rowena is Director, Programs and Policy at the NetBeacon Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, she worked for Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, Nominet UK, and the UK government at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Rowena has over a decade of experience in and around policy, and holds two degrees – Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations and Political Science) – from the Australian National University (ANU).

Sureswaran Ramadass is Professor Emeritus at the Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST). His last position was as Chairman of the ITU/UN (International Telecommunications Union) IPv6 and IOT Center of Expertise. He is the Founder and Chairman of IPv6 Forum Malaysia, as well as the Emeritus Chair for the IPv6 Forum Education Programme
Prior to this, he was the founding Director and Professor at the National Advanced IPv6 Centre of Excellence (NAV6), Universiti Sains Malaysia. As the Director of Nav6, he was instrumental in the successful implementation of IPv6 in Malaysia.

Champika is an experienced Internet technology and Cybersecurity professional currently part of ICANN. He represents ICANN in technical and security engagement activities in the Asia Pacific region.
Champika has been regular speaker and a resource person at various international security forums, INTERPOL, Council of Europe etc. Champika received a number of excellence awards during his academic and professional careers and also served in various technical community groups and committees.


Anh Luu is a seasoned cybersecurity and cloud solutions expert, currently serving as Regional Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare. With a strong background supporting digital transformation initiatives across ASEAN, Anh brings deep expertise in helping enterprises modernize their application environments, secure networks, and optimize performance across complex cloud infrastructures.
At Cloudflare, Anh plays a pivotal role in helping organizations reimagine cybersecurity by integrating intelligent, AI-driven protection across the full technology stack — from applications to networks and data layers. His consultative approach and technical leadership have made him a trusted advisor to IT and security teams navigating today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape.

Ms. Vu Thi Hoan is a DNS administrator, has worked at Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) since 2016. She is currently in charge of administering the .VN National DNS server system. She has experiences in implementing DNSSEC and IPv6 standards and technology; training and consulting on DNS system implementation for Ministries, Sectors, and local Departments of Science and Technology.

Mr. Le Khac Chinh is a DNS administrator, has worked at Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) since 2016. He is currently in charge of administering the .VN National DNS server system. He has experiences in implementing DNSSEC and IPv6 standards and technology; training and consulting on DNS system implementation for Ministries, Sectors, and local Departments of Science and Technology.

He has been working as a DNS specialist and senior system administrator at the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) since 2015. With extensive experience in deploying DNSSEC and developing monitoring solutions, he is currently responsible for the system administration of the .VN country-code top-level domain (ccTLD). In my role, he ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of Vietnam’s national DNS infrastructure. Additionally, he is actively involved in researching, developing, and applying new technologies to enhance the security and resilience of the DNS system in Vietnam, contributing to its ongoing protection against emerging threats.
